Министр финансов Швейцарии Или Маурер (Ueli Maurer) заявил на блокчейн-конференции Infrachain в Берне, что страна не будет принимать специальный закон о блокчейн-технологии.
Вместо отдельной нормативно-правовой базы для блокчейна и криптоиндустрии Швейцария планирует подрегулировать существующие законы применительно к новой технологии и ее финансовым приложениям.
Маурер дал понять, что отдает себе отчет в сильной конкуренции в области финтеха с которой сталкивается Швейцария. «Лондон уже более продвинут чем мы, и центры вроде Сингапура и Шанхая – очень сильные соперники.», – сказал министр.
Отметим, что соседний со Швейцарией Лихтенштейн уже на один законодательный шаг впереди. В августе правительство княжества опубликовало проект нового Закона о блокчейне (Blockchain Act) – закона о системе транзакций, основанной на «проверенных технологиях». Как ожидается, закон примут в 2019 году.
В свою очередь в Конгресс США представлен законопроект под названием «Закон о продвижении блокчейна-2018», который предполагает создание рабочей группы для формирования общего подхода к блокчейн-технологии.
