«После закрытия сделки About Capital будет контролировать мажоритарный пакет акций Huobi Global. Соглашение предусматривает только смену управляющего акционера и не влияет на основную деятельность [компании]», — сказано в сообщении.
По завершении сделки платформа внедрит ряд инициатив, направленных на расширение бизнеса и продвижение бренда на глобальном рынке. К примеру, компания планирует сделать «значительные вложения» в маржинальный и резервный фонды.
«Мы намерены продолжить развитие и модернизацию деятельности Huobi, среди наших планов увеличение рискового капитала, развитие институционального бизнеса, а также глобальные брендинговые проекты», — сообщил генеральный директор About Capital Management Тед Чен.
Bloomberg еще в августе 2022 года сообщал, что соучредитель Huobi Леон Ли ведет переговоры о продаже 58% пакета акций при оценке компании в $2-3 млрд.
