Разработчики сообщили, что с момента запуска Optimism пользователи сэкономили на комиссии за газ более $275 млн. Свое техническое решение объяснили желанием «присоединиться к широкой и диверсифицированной сети приложений, которые уже используют этот L2».
Согласно информации L2 Fees, сейчас транзакционные сборы в этой сети находятся на уровне $2,46. Чтобы сравнить — в блокчейне Ethereum показатель превышает $9,5.
