Поскольку биткоин продолжает коррекцию и сейчас торгуется ниже уровня поддержки в 10 000 долларов, Брандт подтвердил, что рынок криптовалюты может сильно снизиться от максимального уровня рыночной капитализации в 380 миллиардов долларов до примерно 150 миллиардов долларов, что в основном затронет альткойны.
Примечательно, что в комментариях к заявлению маститого трейдера, не раз указывающего истинную тенденцию, выступил аналитик Nadeem Mohammed, который заметил математическую ошибку в заявлении. Даже при 90% падении от сегодняшнего уровня цен альткоинов не сможет переложить на них основную тяжесть снижения рынка, так как доминирование биткоина уже вплотную приблизилось к отметке 70%.
80-процентная коррекция последнего параболического роста биткоина с 3130 до 13 800 долларов может означать, что главная криптовалюта обесценится почти до 5000 долларов. Это несколько оптимистичнее идеи выдвинутой Тони Вайсом (Tone Vays), который предполагал падение к 2 800 долларам.
