«Новинка у функціоналі Microsoft Edge, що викликає запитання, — криптогаманець. Не знаю, як ставитися до факту, коли подібні функції вже вшиті у браузер», — зазначив експерт.
Опубліковані ним скриншоти демонструють інтерфейс користувача. У браузері доступний оглядач децентралізованих застосунків, стрічка новин і опція купівлі цифрових активів через Coinbase і MoonPay.
У коментарі для Decrypt дослідник нагадав, що розробники браузера постійно тестують безліч опцій, які не обов’язково втілюються у життя. Однак гаманець повністю функціональний, крім доступу для користувачів, — додав він.
«З огляду на те, що я зміг його нормально використовувати, думаю, розгортання не виключене. Сподіваюся, для крихітного пробного періоду вони не стали б себе обтяжувати інтеграцією сервісів у робоче середовище», — підкреслив Albacore.
За даними Statista, у грудні 2022 року частка ринку Edge становила 11%.
