5 июля криптовалютный брокер Voyager Digital подал ходатайство о банкротстве в суд Нью-Йорка. Суммарное количество обязательств компании составляет от $1 млрд до $10 млрд при наличии около 100 000 клиентов.
Согласно пресс-релизу, у Voyager есть порядка $1,3 млрд на платформе, более $350 млн на счете в Metropolitan Commercial Bank и требования к 3AC на сумму свыше $650 млн. В дополнение компания «имеет ~$110 млн наличных и собственных криптовалютных активов».
Глава брокера Стивен Эрлих подчеркнул, что брокер продолжит работу. По его словам, цель Voyager — стать более сильной компанией после реорганизации.
«Клиенты с криптовалютой на своем аккаунте (аккаунтах) получат взамен комбинацию криптовалюты на своем аккаунте (аккаунтах), выручку от восстановления 3AC, обыкновенные акции во вновь реорганизованной компании и токены Voyager», — написал Эрлих.
Он также сообщил, что клиенты с долларовыми депозитами получат доступ к средствам после завершения процесса проверки в Metropolitan Commercial Bank. Топ-менеджер добавил, что фирма «активно использует все доступные средства» для возмещения убытков от Three Arrows Capital.
