Национальный банк Украины (НБУ) завершил расширенный пилотный проект запуска электронной гривны. Директор департамента платежных систем и инновационного развития регулятора Александр Яблунивский сообщил, что изучение перспектив данного инструмента продолжится.
С помощью е-гривны можно будет мгновенно проводить транзакции в пределах Украины и минимизировать комиссии.
Проект стартовал в конце прошлого года. Возможность использовать данный инструмент получили сотрудники НБУ. Практический аспект его применения оценивался по заранее разработанной методологии. Кроме этого, собирались отзывы от пользователей.
Эти данные использовались для подготовки аналитической записки. Она также включает описание мировых тенденций в данной сфере. Этот документ будет обнародован после рассмотрения на правлении НБУ.
Единая стратегия по развитию подобных валют пока отсутствует
Только несколько центробанков в мире перешли к практической фазе исследований. Остальные ограничиваются теоретическими выкладками относительно влияния подобных инструментов на экосистему расчетов и монетарную политику.
По словам Яблунивского, не стоит путать цифровые валюты (central bank digital currency, CDBC) с криптовалютами. CDBC можно реализовать, используя как централизованный, так и децентрализованный реестр.
