Каждый желающий сможет получить криптовалюту Stellar на $25, общая сумма «аттракциона неслыханной щедрости» составит $125 млн. Сейчас Stellar является шестой по величине криптовалютой с рыночной капитализацией около $5 млрд.
«Первая часть реципиентов получат свои монеты lumen, собственную криптовалюту Stellar, на этой неделе – бесплатно», – говорится в заявлении компании.
Глава Blockchain Питер Смит (Peter Smith), который расскажет детали airdrop сегодня на Web Summit в Португалии, рассказал, что компания работает со Stellar отчасти потому, что, как полагает Смит, эта сеть – «великолепный блокчейн, способный производить огромный объем транзакций».
По словам Смита, процесс раздачи криптовалюты займет несколько месяцев, и количество пользователей, получивших lumen, будет варьироваться в зависимости от их географического положения. Он добавил, что приоритет будет у уже зарегистрированных пользователей кошелька Blockchain.
