Котирующийся на Nasdaq майнинговый гигант Canaan планирует дополнительно выпустить акции на сумму $12,4 млн в рамках программы поощрения сотрудников. Это следует из документа формы S-8, поданного в Комиссию по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC).
Известно, что китайская компания собирается выпустить 51 624 000 обыкновенных акций класса А по максимальной цене $0,24 за штуку.
Форму S-8 необходимо подавать публичным компаниям, желающим выпустить акции или опционы эмитента для своих сотрудников. Документ должен быть предоставлен регулятору до выпуска ценных бумаг.
По мнению BTCKING555, Canaan таким образом пытается при помощи допэмиссии воспрепятствовать уходу менеджмента и основателей компании.
